| This will be the 6th in
the international symposium series on steel
structures organized by the Korean Society
of Steel Construction. The previous five symposia
were successfully held in Seoul, Korea in
2000, 2002, 2005 2006 and 2009, respectively.
This series of symposium is organized in cooperation
with the International Journal of Steel
Structures(IJOSS). The symposium will
provide an international forum for a broad
range of technical papers in steel structural
research and its applications. ISSS-2011 will
bring together academicians and practicing
engineers to exchange new ideas, technological
developments, and experiences in Steel Structures. |

| Authors has to submit an
abstract of 300-500 words and presenting authors
are required to complete the pre-registration
to initiate a review process. An individual
cannot present orally more than one ordinary
paper during the Symposium. Both abstracts
and full papers will be reviewed. |

printed symposium papers, which can also be
downloaded from the KSSC website. Extended
versions of selected papers included in the

by Thomson ISI for inclusion in the Science
Citation Index Expanded. |
